The White Trim Deck

The White Trim Deck is all about balance—between elegance and utility, and between natural materials and architectural detail. We designed this outdoor living space to bring warmth and purpose to an otherwise underused backyard. A key feature of the build is the custom pergola structure trimmed in white, which frames the deck and creates a clean visual connection to the home’s existing exterior. Inside that framework, we added a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with cedar accents, ample counter space, and built-in seating to make entertaining seamless. The flow of the deck encourages movement while offering cozy gathering points—ideal for both quiet dinners and larger get-togethers. Our process focused on creating a high-functioning space without compromising its visual charm, using natural wood, white detailing, and durable finishes to ensure both beauty and longevity in this Toronto-area backyard transformation.
