The Wedding Deck

The Wedding Deck is a perfect example of what happens when design meets emotion. The homeowners came to us with a dream: to create an outdoor space that could host their wedding and then become a long-term gathering place for friends and family. We focused on layered elevation changes to create natural pathways and platforms, using warm-toned hardwoods and hand-crafted railings to define each space. A custom-built archway became the focal point—a ceremonial centerpiece that still serves as a daily reminder of that milestone moment. Integrated seating areas and planting beds soften the lines and add intimacy. From a deck-building perspective, this project had to balance beauty, durability, and flow, and the result is a handcrafted wedding deck that blends architectural precision with genuine heart. It's become more than just a backyard deck—it's a living venue for love, laughter, and celebration.
