The Waterfront Deck

For this lakefront property, we wanted the deck to feel like an extension of the shoreline—calm, inviting, and perfectly placed. Our team designed tiered levels that gently guide you from the house down to the water’s edge, offering a series of cozy zones for reading, dining, or simply watching the waves roll in. One of the challenges was working around mature trees, which we kept intact to give natural shade and a sense of seclusion. We used low-profile railings and wide plank composite decking to keep the sightlines clear and maintenance minimal. This custom deck design balances function with serenity, offering a peaceful outdoor retreat that enhances both the view and the waterfront lifestyle.
