The Three Bridges Deck

A multi-section deck connected by three walkway-style bridges across a stone garden. Distinct zones for lounging, dining, and relaxing are visually and physically separated.

About the Project

This design was built around the idea of separation without disconnect. We created three distinct deck sections, each with its own purpose—lounging, dining, and flexible seating—all connected by narrow bridges that cross a stone-filled garden bed. It’s a layout that makes movement through the space feel intentional and serene. The pergolas and vertical posts frame each space and create a sense of rhythm throughout the yard. We kept the materials minimal and clean, letting the shapes and layout do the heavy lifting. This is one of those projects where the flow is just as important as the form—and both work together to make the space feel open, organized, and calm.
