The Sunken Spa Deck

This project was all about creating a backyard that feels like a getaway. The deck layout includes defined areas for dining, lounging, and poolside relaxation—all connected with easy flow and clear sightlines. A custom pergola adds shade and structure over the dining area, while built-in planters and low-profile railings keep the space feeling open. We also included an integrated grill station and plenty of space for gathering or stretching out solo. The layout works with the surrounding landscape rather than against it, giving the whole space a relaxed, resort-like vibe. It’s a place built for slow mornings, sunny afternoons, and long evenings outside.
