About the Project
This backyard project brought the comfort of a resort retreat to an urban backyard. We built multiple functional zones—each framed by warm wood elements and tree canopy—so the space could feel cozy and layered without feeling crowded. The deck flows from a dining zone to a built-in hot tub, then into a curved lounge anchored by custom pergolas. Strategic planting and existing mature trees enhance the sense of privacy, while the open design keeps airflow and sunlight in balance.
