The Bridge To Serenity Deck

For this project, we set out to design a deck that felt less like a backyard addition and more like an experience. The curved boardwalk-style entry gives the whole space a sense of flow and arrival—like you're stepping into a retreat. We incorporated a custom pergola with intricate metal privacy screens, which filter light beautifully and offer just the right amount of enclosure. A central fire bowl, flanked by cozy built-in seating and accent planters, turns the space into a perfect gathering spot at dusk. This deck is about more than function—it's about emotional connection. From the gentle curvature of the walkways to the quiet nooks for conversation, every detail was chosen to invite pause, presence, and peace. It’s one of our favourite examples of how outdoor living can be both grounded and transformative.
